Many good points there. I've been reading the writings of Andrei D. Sakharov, a Russian physicist. It was written in 1975. Apparently, physicists, mathematicians and other scientists were allowed to speak out about human rights because of their privileged position in Soviet society. They were the only ones trained in classical logic, in the dispassionate observation and analysis of facts. Soviet politicians, lawyers, historian and the rest of society were taught the method of justifying a predetermined conclusion. They were able to do this because of government control of the media. I find this is what is going on here. I absolutely refuse to shut down my reasoning and rational and refuse to believe the garbage they are putting forth. They have lost all credibility.
