I think it happened to me once! Berore the election, I listened to an excellent Briteon talk on how disappointing it was that not one of the candidates were (and are still not!)talking about the genocide in Gaza, and on a YouTube vid with RFK Jr where he talked about all the chemicals, dyes, etc in cereals, I commented that I liked his post/s, but was so disappointed that he is not talking about genocide(knowing he supports Israel!)and I got a mail from his online watchguy asking me if I wished to not receive any further posts from him? No, I said, of course I still want to! I just expressed disappointment with...politely, mind you. 🤷♀️
I guessing am not on enough sites/blogs/substacks to know this about the control, but it does not surprise me given the last 4+ years. Malone, the only individual I do subscribe to, doesn't allow comments by non-subscribers(me), except maybe once in awhile and I have not done so...no point because it is all those who like to see themselves in print, so I let them do their thing, mostly not reading the comments.
Full disclosure: I do subscribe to 3 types of Epoch Times(Conrad Black - whose viewpoints are different from mine), paying 4$ for the year, apparently, shall not resume...and comment liberally on various articles.
However, all the youtube videos I do watch in the evening, I mostly evaluate by the comments! Some very good ones.
I listened to the gentleman, missed his name, and he is talking about Twitter? Good thing I am not on it!
every platform you are on is curated. If a person says the wrong thing they will be pushed down. The thing that is different here with you and me, is that we know each other in person. This changes everything. This makes you far more interested in what I have to say. Recently, I have noticed that my engagement is going down. I'm sure I am not pleasing the masters. Probably because of that guy. The one that is going to save us. I don't want to say his name right now. I think you know. Anyway, if not ask me next time we see each other.

There's still a lot of control out there.
