This post will be on the topic of an interview between Mark Kulacz and Jessica Hockett on his YouTube channel Housatonic Live. This episode was removed from YouTube very quickly. Fortunately we have more options than YouTube, it is also available on Rumble.
During the COVID Lockdown, Jessica Hockett started a new Twitter account under the name Emma Woodhouse, to tweet on the subject of COVID.
In March 2020 Governer J. B. Pritzker, Illinois, from one of the richest families in the world, ordered the churches to close, this was a red flag. She pointed out how this was unconstitutional to her Christian friends, unfortunately it was not well received.
“it’s only 2 weeks”
“it’s an emergency”
“we just don’t know”
“he’s not only shutting down churches”
But her husband owns a restaurant and they were also required by Pritzker to close. She notes that Target and other large department stores were allowed to stay open. She wasn’t sure about there being a novel dangerous virus. She was skeptical from the very beginning because of these measures which closed small businesses and churches, whilst they allowed larger businesses to remain open.
New York was the justification for locking down. In this interview she says that it was used as justification for lockdowns in the US. From my perspective, it was used as justification for lockdowns worldwide, and in Canada where I live. In the news we heard that the hospitals in New York were overrun. According to reports, travelling doctors and nurses were brought in to help out.
She did tweet on the subject of New York early on because none of it really made sense, but she was blown off by most Twitter users. She was also curious about the disappearance of the flu. But there was a lot going on, including fighting local mandates and her kids being out of school. She was not able to pursue these questions in a meaningful way until later.
She was kicked off of Twitter in July of 2022, this was when she found she had more time to investigate what happened in New York in March of 2020. She has been looking into it ever since then. Her research has revealed bizarre information, prompting more questions on the subject.
In what she calls an 11 week event from mid March to the end of May 2020, New York city accounts for 19% of the COVID deaths in the US, during this time. A COVID death is a death which attributes COVID 19 as the underlying cause. This was questionable because New York city comprises only 3% of the total population in the US.
There was a 600 to 700% increase in all cause mortality in five boroughs of New York city within a few weeks. This is not what is to be expected from a viral spread, no matter what the CDC, the WHO or Fauci might say. It is more like what you would see if a bomb exploded. It was the mortality equivalent of 10 911 events. She finds it odd that nobody is asking questions about this. I also find it odd, what about you?
Did this actually happen? The silence around it is quite disturbing. On the other hand the silence kind of makes sense, with how we have been trained over the past 4 or 5 years now, to speak about only the topics we are permitted to, when we are permitted to. For example Gain of Function is hot now, and vaccine injuries are hot now. Questioning whether there even was a novel dangerous virus called COVID 19 at all, is not hot.
Just a couple days after 15 days to slow the spread on March 18th 2020 there was a massive spike in deaths. See the shocking graph below:
This is a huge red flag. The numbers went from 137 deaths a day to 1200 deaths a day at the peak. This crescendo of deaths accounts for about 2 weeks. She points out that these deaths occurred only after the government gave permission, and mass testing began. The only other place in the world where this was observed were some Northern provinces in Italy, that’s another story though.
This data came from a freedom of Information request. She was sent the date and the number of deaths which were claimed to have happened. She wants it to be clear that these are not actual records and that death certificates are not provided in New York to confirm these deaths, so all we’re seeing here is claims made by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. It was an excel sheet.
But did this actually happen? It seems unlikely. To expect actual evidence, like death certificates is fair, under the circumstances. The entire world was locked down because of these claims, as well as the claims made about Northern Italy.
There are many reasons why Jessica and her colleagues doubt that this occurred. Some of this is discussed in the article Does New York City 2020 Make Any Sense?

One correction: My husband is a partner in a restaurant group. :)
